Your questions answered

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a structured trauma therapy that helps your brain reprocess distressing memories so they feel less intense and overwhelming, using bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or taps).

EMDR can help with single-incident trauma (e.g. accidents, medical procedures, assaults) and complex trauma (e.g. childhood abuse, neglect, long-term invalidation), as well as birth trauma and medical trauma.
